Ashton Foote Contracting was founded on firsthand experience inside commercial construction, seeing where projects break down and where owners are left carrying unnecessary risk.

After working within the industry and watching budgets drift, scope gaps surface late, and communication become reactive instead of proactive, we saw an opportunity to build something different. Ashton Foote was conceived as a response to that market fragment, a firm built around clarity, discipline, and leadership accountability.

Max co-founded Ashton-Foote with a focus on disciplined execution and operational precision. Over the course of his career, he has managed complex construction projects across retail, medical, and office sectors, gaining first-hand insight into the pressures, capital stakes, and timelines that define every project.

He believes that construction is not just about buildings, it’s about protecting momentum for the people building something meaningful. Every project deserves clarity, accountability, and meticulous planning, and Max approaches each one with a sense of ownership and responsibility.

Cade co-founded Ashton-Foote with a deep respect for the responsibility that construction carries.

Before launching the firm, he worked across commercial real estate, leasing, and development environments, where he saw firsthand how construction performance directly affects capital, timelines, tenant outcomes, and investor returns. That experience shaped a clear belief: builders deserve partners who think like owners.

Throughout his career, Cade has operated at the intersection of development strategy, leasing execution, and construction delivery, giving him a rare, end-to-end perspective on how projects succeed or fail. He brings a disciplined, systems-driven mindset to every project, focused on clarity, preparation, and accountability.
